The Nartiang Monoliths are a collection of stone pillars located in the Nartiang village in the Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya, India. The monoliths are believed to have been erected between the 15th and 19th centuries, and are thought to be a memorial to the Jaintia kings and their ancestors. The tallest monolith is eight meters high, and the entire collection is spread over an area of about 100 hectares. The monoliths are made of sandstone, and are carved in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some of the monoliths are decorated with geometric patterns, while others are carved with images of animals or human figures. The monoliths are a popular tourist destination, and are considered to be an important part of the Jaintia culture.
